Project Type: Concert Stage
Equipment Quantity: 8 K210 Line Array Speakers
Audience Scale: 500 People
1. Project Background
In January 2026, a US cultural communication company planned a 500-person outdoor concert at a local medium-sized outdoor venue, which is rectangular (25m deep, 18m wide) with the stage at one end. The core demand was to solve uneven audio coverage, blurred sound quality and unstable long-term operation, ensuring every audience could clearly hear human voices and musical instruments for an immersive experience.
After comparing market products, the client chose us for our professional debugging team (able to optimize sound quality based on venue acoustics) and the K210 line array’s high stability, which fits concerts’ long-term, high-power operation needs. Positive feedback from past cases further strengthened their trust.
2. Client Needs
The client focused on two core goals: sound quality and equipment stability. Specific needs are as follows:
- Sound Quality: Ensure uniform sound field in the 500-person outdoor venue (no dead corners), clear and undistorted sound for all audiences, adapting to various performance forms.
- Stability: The 12-hour concert (rehearsal + performance) requires the audio system to run stably at high power without faults to ensure smooth progress.
- Service: Professional full-process service (survey, installation, debugging, testing) with emergency handling capabilities for on-site issues.
3. Our Solutions
To meet the client’s needs, we tailored a solution with 8 K210 line array speakers, focusing on clear sound, uniform coverage and stable operation, as follows:
First, professional acoustic engineers surveyed the venue, used EASE software to analyze its outdoor acoustics, and based on its 25m depth, 18m width and seat distribution, decided on a “left-right hanging” method. 8 K210 speakers were divided into two groups (4 each), hung 4.5m above the stage sides at 45°, ensuring full coverage of the 500-person venue and uniform sound field.
Second, we matched professional digital power amplifiers and independent power circuits.
Finally, an experienced team adjusted EQ and delay parameters based on the repertoire, optimized sound balance, and simulated 12-hour high-power operation to eliminate potential faults.
4. Main Product Advantages
The K210 line array is professional audio for large performances, perfectly fitting this 500-person outdoor concert with its outstanding advantages:
- Excellent Sound Quality: Custom tweeters and dual 10-inch woofers deliver clear treble, mellow midrange and deep bass, restoring sound details and meeting diverse concert needs.
- High Stability: High-quality components pass strict tests, with excellent heat dissipation and anti-interference, supporting 12-hour high-power stable operation without faults.
- Uniform Coverage: Line array design ensures long-distance sound propagation; flexible hanging adapts to the outdoor venue’s size, achieving full coverage with no dead corners.
- Flexible Installation & Debugging: Lightweight with special hoisting accessories; fast programming and debugging save preparation time.
- Durable & Cost-Effective: High-strength waterproof/dustproof cabinet; longer service life and higher cost-effectiveness than similar high-end products.
5. Implementation Process
We followed a standardized process to ensure project success: on-site survey & planning, installation & debugging, testing & optimization. Details are as follows:
(1) On-site Survey and Planning
(1) On-site Survey and Planning: Based on the venue’s actual conditions (25m deep, 18m wide rectangular outdoor space, stage at one end, 500-person seating distribution), our team conducted a detailed survey and formulated a targeted plan. We measured key parameters (seat rows, distance from stage to back row) to mark acoustic blind areas (e.g., the far left/right of the back row). Considering outdoor wind and ambient noise, we adjusted the acoustic optimization direction. For installation, we determined the hanging height (4.5m) and angle (45°) based on the venue’s depth—this height ensures sound bypasses the front audience to reach the back row, while the 45° angle covers the 18m width evenly. We divided 8 speakers into two groups (4 each) for left-right hanging to avoid sound overlap and dead corners. We also checked the on-site power capacity, planned an independent 30A power circuit for audio equipment (separate from lighting’s 50A circuit) to prevent voltage fluctuations, and marked the installation points and wire routes to ensure safety and efficiency.
(2) Installation and Programming Debugging
(2) Installation and Programming Debugging: The team hung 8 speakers in two groups (4 each) at the planned positions with high-strength bolts for stability. We installed power amplifiers and mixers, routed wires by “separating strong/weak electricity” with clear labels to avoid interference. After installation, we connected mixers, set output power and frequency response, optimized EQ and delay to balance sound, and debugged equipment linkage to ensure synchronous operation.
After the installation was completed, the debugging team started programming and debugging work: connected the sound mixing equipment, set the basic parameters such as the output power and frequency response of the audio; optimized parameters such as EQ and delay according to the concert repertoire, balanced the volume of human voice and musical instrument sound, and ensured clear and transparent sound quality; at the same time, debugged the linkage of the equipment to ensure that all speakers operate synchronously and avoid sound delay, dislocation and other problems.
(3) Testing and Optimization
(3) Testing and Optimization: We tested sound coverage in front/middle/back areas, fine-tuned angles to eliminate dead corners. A 12-hour high-power test monitored equipment temperature and status to ensure no faults. Finally, we adjusted parameters based on client and performance team feedback to meet requirements before acceptance.
6. Project Results
The project achieved remarkable results and high client recognition:
- Sound Quality: The K210 speakers achieved uniform coverage with clear, undistorted sound, gaining positive audience feedback.
- Stability: The system ran stably for 12 hours at high power without faults, ensuring the concert went smoothly.
- Long-Term Cooperation: The client highly praised our solution and service, agreeing to long-term cooperation, laying a foundation for our US market expansion.
