3. Our Solution
Combining the client's needs, the characteristics of the indoor stage and the acoustic environment of the venue, we customized a professional audio solution with 8 K210 line arrays and 4 KS28 subwoofers as the core, and formulated a strict implementation plan to ensure the smooth realization of the project goals.
First of all, our professional acoustic engineering team conducted surveys in the USA, measured the specific size of the venue, analyzed the acoustic characteristics such as reverberation time and noise level, and simulated the sound coverage effect through professional software. According to the survey results, we determined the installation positions of the K210 line arrays and KS28 subwoofers: 8 K210 line arrays were placed symmetrically on both sides of the stage, and 4 KS28 subwoofers were placed on the ground in front of the stage, forming a three-dimensional sound field coverage.
Secondly, we matched professional power amplifiers and audio processors to the K210 and KS28 equipment, optimized the audio signal transmission path, and ensured the stability and clarity of the sound. At the same time, we formulated a strict debugging plan to conduct targeted sound calibration according to the venue environment and activity needs, so as to achieve uniform sound coverage and clear sound quality. Finally, we carried out a full-scale test of the system to ensure that the audio system can operate stably for 12 consecutive hours at high power without any failures, fully meeting the client's needs.
4. Main Product Advantages
The core equipment of this project is 8 K210 line arrays and 4 KS28 subwoofers, which have excellent performance and obvious advantages, and are perfectly adapted to the needs of the 600-capacity indoor stage. Their specific advantages are as follows:
4.1 K210 Line Array
- Excellent sound clarity and penetration: The K210 line array is a two-way full-range speaker, equipped with a 10-inch low-frequency unit and a 44-core high-frequency unit, with a frequency response range of 60Hz-20kHz, which can fully restore the details of human voice and music, and has strong sound penetration, ensuring that the sound can be clearly transmitted to every corner of the venue even in a 600-capacity space.
- Uniform coverage performance: The K210 line array adopts a scientific line array design, with a horizontal coverage angle of 90° and a vertical coverage angle of 50°, which can form a uniform sound field coverage, effectively avoiding sound dead ends and ensuring that the audience in any position can get the same sound experience. Its array design also makes the sound projection distance longer, which is suitable for the sound coverage of medium-sized indoor stages.
- Stable and durable: The cabinet is made of birch plywood, sprayed with water-based environmentally friendly wear-resistant sand texture paint, which is impact-resistant, wear-resistant and durable, and can adapt to long-term high-intensity use. At the same time, it is equipped with a high-precision LC frequency divider, which uses high-quality components such as high-precision polypropylene capacitors and low-loss wire-wound inductors, and has a unique high-frequency large-signal protection circuit to avoid equipment damage caused by excessive power.
- Flexible installation: The K210 line array is equipped with multiple M10 suspension points and a 35mm tray, which can be flexibly installed in different positions such as hanging and supporting, and the installation angle can be adjusted according to the venue layout, which is very suitable for the installation needs of indoor stages.
4.2 KS28 Subwoofer
- Powerful low-frequency performance: The KS28 subwoofer is designed to expand the frequency response of the large-format audio system, equipped with two high-stroke 18-inch direct-radiation transducers, with a usable bandwidth of 25Hz (-10dB) and a maximum sound pressure level of 143dB, which can provide thick, powerful and full low-frequency effects, enhancing the sense of presence and shock of the sound, and is very suitable for music performances and theatrical shows.
- Low distortion and high efficiency: The KS28 subwoofer adopts an optimized L-ventilation layer exhaust port, which can greatly reduce vibration and terminal noise, while improving low-frequency efficiency. When the powerful transducer is combined with the optimized L-ventilation layer, it can exert a higher sound pressure level under low distortion, ensuring the purity and clarity of the low-frequency sound without harsh noise.
- Strong stability: The KS28 subwoofer has a reasonable structural design, uses high-quality materials and components, and has excellent heat dissipation performance and overload protection function, which can operate stably for a long time at high power, and is not easy to fail, fully meeting the client's demand for long-term stable operation of the audio system.
- Good compatibility: The KS28 subwoofer can be perfectly matched with the K210 line array, forming a complementary audio system, which can effectively make up for the lack of low-frequency performance of the line array, and create a three-dimensional and rich sound effect, meeting the sound needs of different types of activities.
5. Implementation Process
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project and the quality of the final effect, we divided the project implementation into three key stages, with clear division of labor and strict implementation standards:
5.1 On-site Survey and Planning
Our professional acoustic engineering team conducted a comprehensive survey at the USA project site. First, we measured the specific size of the indoor stage and the audience area, including length, width, height and other parameters, and marked the key positions that may affect the sound effect. Then, we tested the acoustic environment of the venue, analyzed the reverberation time, noise level and other indicators, and identified the problems that may affect the sound quality (such as excessive reverberation, local noise interference, etc.).
Based on the survey results, we used professional audio simulation software to simulate the sound coverage effect of the K210 line array and KS28 subwoofer, determined the optimal installation positions and angles of the equipment, formulated a detailed installation and debugging plan, and communicated with the client in detail to confirm the plan, ensuring that the plan is scientific, reasonable and in line with the client's needs.
5.2 Installation and Programming Debugging
After the plan was confirmed, our technical team carried out on-site installation work. First, we placed the 8 K210 line arrays symmetrically on both sides of the stage according to the planned positions, adjusted the installation angle to ensure the uniform coverage of the sound. Then, we placed the 4 KS28 subwoofers on the ground in front of the stage, and connected the power amplifiers, audio processors and other supporting equipment to ensure the normal transmission of audio signals.
After the installation was completed, we carried out programming and debugging work. We adjusted the audio parameters (such as volume, frequency response, sound delay, etc.) through the audio processor, conducted targeted calibration according to the acoustic characteristics of the venue, and simulated different activity scenarios (speeches, music performances) to debug the sound effect, ensuring that the sound is clear, natural and uniform, and the low-frequency effect is powerful and not distorted.
5.3 Testing and Optimization
In order to ensure the stability and effect of the audio system, we carried out a full-scale test of the system. First, we conducted a 12-hour continuous high-power operation test, simulating the long-time use scenario of the indoor stage, and monitored the operation status of the equipment in real time, including temperature, power, sound quality and other indicators, to ensure that there is no equipment failure during the test.
Then, we tested the sound coverage and sound quality of the entire venue, selected multiple test points to detect the sound pressure level and frequency response, and adjusted the equipment parameters for the areas with uneven sound or poor sound quality to optimize the sound effect. Finally, we invited the client to participate in the test, listened to the client's opinions and suggestions, and made final adjustments to ensure that the client is satisfied with the effect.
6. Project Achievements
After the completion of the project, the audio system achieved the expected goals, and the project results were remarkable, mainly reflected in the following aspects:
