1. Project Background
In March 2026, we partnered with a client from Mozambique who was preparing for a large-scale DJ concert stage project, aiming to provide an immersive audio experience for 3,000 audiences. The DJ stage was built in an open-air venue with a total area of about 800 square meters, which posed high requirements for the sound system’s coverage, stability and low-frequency performance. Before cooperating with us, the client had encountered problems such as uneven sound coverage, weak low-frequency impact and frequent equipment failures during long-term operation in previous small-scale events, which seriously affected the audience’s on-site experience. After in-depth market research and multiple comparisons, the client finally chose our professional audio system, mainly because of our excellent sound debugging technology, stable equipment performance and rich experience in undertaking large-scale concert stage projects, which can fully meet the core needs of the 3,000-person DJ stage. 2. Customer Needs
The core goal of this DJ stage project in Mozambique is to create a shocking and immersive audio experience for 3,000 audiences, and the specific needs and challenges are mainly reflected in three aspects. First, the low-frequency effect must be shocking and powerful, which is the key to driving the on-site atmosphere of the DJ stage, requiring the audio system to have strong low-frequency diving ability and explosive power to adapt to various dynamic DJ music styles. Second, the sound must be clear and uniform throughout the entire venue, ensuring that every audience, whether in the front row or the back row, can clearly hear every detail of the music without distortion or dead ends. Third, the equipment must be able to operate stably at high power for 12 consecutive hours. Since the DJ concert usually lasts from evening to early morning, the sound system needs to have excellent heat dissipation performance and stable operation performance to avoid equipment failure affecting the smooth progress of the event. In addition, the client also expects the audio system to be easy to install and debug, and to have good compatibility to meet the needs of subsequent event upgrades and expansions.
3. Our Solution
Based on the client's specific requirements and the practical conditions of a 3,000-capacity DJ stage in Mozambique, our professional team developed a customized audio solution. This solution features a selection of 16 Q312 line array loudspeakers and 14 B22 subwoofers, complemented by a scientifically engineered layout and precise calibration to ensure optimal audio performance. Our team conducted a thorough site analysis, evaluating the acoustic environment and audience distribution patterns to formulate a scientifically sound equipment layout plan. Regarding the 16 Q312 line array loudspeakers, we divided them into two groups, suspended on either side of the DJ stage; they were mounted at a height of 4 meters and angled downward at 15 degrees. This layout design ensures uniform sound coverage across every corner of the venue, effectively preventing issues such as sound overlap or the creation of acoustic dead zones. As for the 14 B22 subwoofers, we arranged them in pairs in front of the DJ stage, spaced 1.5 meters apart; by employing a symmetrical layout principle, we enhanced the density and impact of the low-frequency sound, resulting in a bass response that is both fuller and more powerful. Concurrently, we equipped the system with professional power amplifiers and audio processors, performing precise phase alignment and frequency equalization to comprehensively optimize all system parameters. This series of measures ensures that the audio system can operate continuously and stably at high power levels for up to 12 hours without any malfunctions, thereby successfully fulfilling the client's core requirements.

In addition, the Q312 line array speaker has good waterproof and dustproof performance, which can adapt to the complex outdoor environment of the Mozambique DJ stage and ensure long-term stable use.
B22 Subwoofer Advantages: As a professional low-frequency device, the B22 subwoofer is specifically engineered to enhance bass performance. With a frequency response range of 40 Hz to 200 Hz, it delivers deep, powerful low-frequency output, providing the audience with a truly visceral sonic experience. 5. Implementation Process
To ensure the smooth execution of the Mozambique DJ stage audio project and to guarantee that the sound system achieves optimal performance, our team strictly adhered to a standardized implementation process. This process is primarily divided into three key stages:
(1) Planning Based on Site Conditions: Our professional technical team analyzed potential acoustic issues (such as sound reflection and echoes) based on the venue's dimensions, ceiling height, audience layout, and acoustic environment. Integrating these findings with the client's specific requirements, we formulated a detailed plan for equipment layout, installation, and commissioning. This plan precisely specified the suspension positions, angles, and heights for the Q312 line array speakers; the placement and spacing for the B22 subwoofers; and the connection methods and key focus areas for commissioning the ancillary equipment—thereby ensuring the plan's scientific validity, logical soundness, and practical feasibility. Upon completion of the initial plan, we engaged in detailed consultations with the client, incorporating their suggestions to make adjustments and optimizations, ultimately finalizing the official implementation plan.
(2) Installation and System Commissioning: Once the plan was confirmed, our professional installation team arrived on-site on schedule to commence the equipment installation. First, we secured the rigging frames for the Q312 line array speakers; in strict accordance with the plan, we suspended the 16 Q312 units in two arrays—one on each side of the stage—and conducted thorough safety inspections to ensure the rigging was secure and reliable. Subsequently, we arranged the 14 B22 subwoofers in pairs across the front of the stage. We then connected the ancillary equipment—including power amplifiers and audio processors—and performed comprehensive wiring connections and inspections to prevent loose connections or short circuits. Upon the completion of the physical installation, our technical team proceeded with system commissioning, which encompassed sound calibration, phase alignment, frequency equalization, and volume balancing. The team adjusted the system parameters to suit the venue's unique acoustic characteristics and the client's specific requirements, and simulated a continuous 12-hour period of high-power operation to ensure that both the audio performance and equipment stability met the established standards.
(3) Testing and Optimization: Following the completion of the installation and commissioning phases, we conducted a comprehensive test of the entire system. Specifically, we performed a continuous 12-hour full-power test to verify that the equipment could operate stably and without failure, while simultaneously monitoring the equipment's thermal performance and the consistency of the audio quality in real-time. Subsequently, we conducted tests on the sound field coverage and clarity throughout the entire venue. By stationing personnel at various locations within the venue to perform listening tests, we identified and documented any issues, promptly optimizing the relevant parameters in response. For instance, we adjusted the suspension angles of the Q312 line array loudspeakers, thereby resolving the issue of uneven sound field distribution in the rear seating areas; concurrently, we optimized the low-frequency parameters of the B22 subwoofers to enhance the impact of the bass. Following multiple rounds of testing and optimization, the audio system now fully meets the client's requirements, achieving optimal performance in both sound quality and equipment stability.
6. Project Achievements
After the formal operation of the audio system, the project achieved remarkable results, fully meeting the client’s expectations and winning high praise from the client and the audience. First, the sound coverage is uniform, and the sound clarity reaches 98% in the entire 3,000-person venue. Whether it is the front row or the back row, the audience can clearly hear every detail of the DJ music, without distortion or dead ends, creating an immersive audio experience. Second, the low-frequency effect is shocking and powerful. The B22 subwoofers perfectly display the low-frequency details of the DJ music, with deep diving and strong explosive power, which effectively drives the on-site atmosphere, making the audience fully immersed in the music and getting a high-quality audio experience. The Q312 line array speakers and B22 subwoofers successfully completed 12 consecutive hours of high-power operation without any equipment failure, ensuring the smooth progress of the DJ concert and winning the client’s trust.
