1. Project Background
In March 2026, we partnered with a client from Kazakhstan who operates a medium-sized indoor stage venue designed to host various events, including corporate gatherings, small-scale concerts, and cultural performances, with a maximum capacity of 500 attendees. The core challenge the client faced was the poor sound quality of the original audio system—sound coverage was uneven, high-frequency sounds were distorted, and low-frequency performance was weak—leading to a subpar auditory experience for the audience. Additionally, the client required a stable and reliable audio system that could withstand long hours of continuous operation without malfunctions, as the venue hosts back-to-back events regularly.
After researching multiple professional audio brands, the client ultimately chose our L-solution brand. The key reasons for their decision were our professional sound debugging capabilities—we could tailor the audio effect to the venue’s acoustic characteristics—and the proven stability of our equipment, which has been widely recognized in global stage projects, including those in Central Asia and the Middle East. This partnership aimed to resolve the venue’s audio pain points and deliver clear, immersive sound to every corner of the 500-person indoor stage.
2. Client Requirements
The client’s core goal was to equip their 500-person indoor stage with a high-performance audio system that could meet the diverse needs of different events. The specific requirements and challenges included:
1. Sound Coverage: Ensure uniform sound distribution across the entire venue, with no dead zones, so that every audience member—whether in the front row or the back of the hall—can hear clear, undistorted sound, whether it is speech, music, or live performances.
2. Performance Stability: The audio system must be able to operate continuously at high power for long periods (at least 10 hours) without failures, such as sudden power cuts, sound distortion, or equipment overheating, to avoid disrupting ongoing events.
3. Monitoring Effect: Provide high-quality stage monitoring for performers, ensuring that singers, musicians, and hosts can clearly hear their own voices and the background music, enabling smooth performances.
4. Acoustic Adaptability: The system must adapt to the indoor venue’s acoustic environment, reducing echo and reverberation (referring to the optimal reverberation time of 1.5-2 seconds for comprehensive events) to ensure sound clarity and layering.
3. Our Solution
Based on the client’s requirements and the specific acoustic characteristics of this 500-seat indoor venue, we custom-designed a professional audio system. This system comprises 10 H20 line array loudspeakers, 4 H228 subwoofers, and 2 PS12 monitor speakers; through precise calibration of the products' DSP (Digital Signal Processors), we engineered it to deliver optimal sound reinforcement performance. The comprehensive solution is designed to effectively address the acoustic challenges inherent to the venue while meeting the diverse requirements of a wide range of events:
1. Speaker Configuration: 10 H20 line array speakers were hung on both sides of the stage to cover the entire audience area evenly—leveraging the line array’s advantage of controlled sound dispersion (following the principle of step length less than half the wavelength of the radiated sound wave) to ensure consistent sound pressure and clarity from the front to the back of the venue. 4 H228 subwoofers were placed at the front of the stage to enhance low-frequency performance, delivering powerful and clean bass for music and live performances. 2 PS12 monitor speakers were placed on the stage floor to provide real-time, clear monitoring for performers.
2. DSP Preset Optimization: We pre-programmed the DSP with customized parameters based on the venue’s size, shape, and acoustic characteristics. The DSP was adjusted for frequency equalization, time calibration, and phase adjustment to compensate for sound delays and reduce echo, ensuring that sound from all speakers reached the audience and performers synchronously. This not only improved sound clarity but also prevented sound interference and distortion.
3. System Compatibility: All devices were selected for their exceptional compatibility, ensuring seamless connectivity between the H20 line array, H228 subwoofer, and PS12 monitor speakers with the client's existing mixing console, thereby facilitating both daily operations and future system expansion.

H20 Line Array Speaker: The H20 is a professional line array speaker specifically designed for medium-sized indoor and outdoor venues, making it perfectly suited for indoor stage environments accommodating up to 500 people. It features a compact and lightweight design, facilitating easy rigging and installation within limited indoor spaces. Equipped with high-quality neodymium drivers, the speaker boasts a wide frequency response range (55Hz–20kHz), ensuring crystal-clear and transparent high frequencies, full and natural mid-frequencies, and robust, powerful low frequencies. Its optimized line array design ensures uniform sound coverage—with a horizontal coverage angle of 100° and a vertical angle of 15°—effectively eliminating acoustic dead spots within the venue. 2. H228 Subwoofer: The H228 is a high-performance subwoofer custom-engineered to enhance the low-frequency performance of stage sound systems. It features a single 18-inch high-power woofer with a 75mm voice coil; with a rated power of 2500W and a peak power reaching 5000W, it ensures the output of powerful, deep bass that can acoustically penetrate the entire venue. This subwoofer utilizes a sealed enclosure design internally lined with high-density sound-absorbing material, effectively suppressing cabinet resonance to ensure pure, distortion-free low-frequency sound—thereby completely eliminating the muddy bass often associated with lower-quality subwoofers.
3. PS12 Stage Monitor: The PS12 is a professional stage monitor speaker designed specifically to meet the on-stage monitoring requirements of performers. This two-way, full-range loudspeaker features a 12-inch mid-low frequency driver and a 44mm polyester diaphragm compression driver, offering a frequency response range of 75Hz to 20,000Hz and a maximum SPL of 124dB. The PS12 features a trapezoidal cabinet design equipped with a stand mount socket, allowing for flexible placement directly on the stage floor or mounting on a speaker stand. Furthermore, the speaker cabinet is robust and durable; constructed from 18mm plywood and finished with an abrasion-resistant, water-repellent coating, it is capable of withstanding the rigors of demanding stage environments. Thanks to its high sensitivity and crystal-clear sound reproduction capabilities, the speaker ensures that performers can accurately hear their own vocals and backing music, thereby enabling precise control over their performance.
5. Implementation Process
To ensure the smooth implementation of the project and the optimal performance of the audio system, we followed a strict three-step implementation process, with professional technicians providing on-site guidance throughout:
1. Solution Provision and Planning: Based on the client’s specific needs, venue information, and event requirements provided, our professional technical team formulated a detailed and targeted audio solution and implementation plan. We fully integrated the characteristics of the 500-person indoor stage, combined with the performance advantages of the H20 line array, H228 subwoofer, and PS12 monitor speakers, to design the optimal equipment configuration and layout plan. The plan included the hanging position and angle of the H20 line array speakers, the placement position of the H228 subwoofers, the layout of the PS12 monitor speakers, the wiring route of the entire system, and the DSP parameter preset plan. We also communicated with the client in detail to explain the core ideas and implementation details of the plan, adjusted and optimized the plan according to their opinions and actual needs, and finally confirmed a feasible and efficient implementation plan to lay a solid foundation for the subsequent project promotion.
2. Installation and Programming Debugging: After the plan was confirmed, the technical team proceeded with on-site installation. First, we installed the hanging brackets for the H20 line array speakers and carefully hung the 10 H20 speakers on both sides of the stage, adjusting the angle to ensure optimal sound coverage. Next, we placed the 4 H228 subwoofers at the front of the stage, ensuring that their low-frequency sound could spread evenly throughout the venue. Then, we installed the 2 PS12 monitor speakers on the stage floor, adjusting their angle to face the performance area. After the hardware installation was completed, we connected the speakers to the audio console and programmed the DSP with the pre-designed parameters, including frequency equalization, time delay, and phase adjustment, to optimize the sound effect.
3. Testing and Optimization: After the installation and programming were completed, we conducted a comprehensive system test. We played different types of audio (speech, music, live performance recordings) to test the sound coverage, clarity, and low-frequency performance of the system. We used professional sound measurement equipment to detect the sound pressure level and frequency response in different areas of the venue, adjusting the DSP parameters and speaker angles in real time to eliminate any dead zones or sound distortion. We also tested the system’s continuous operation performance, running it at high power for 12 hours to ensure stability. Finally, we invited the client’s staff to participate in the test, collected their feedback, and made further adjustments to meet their expectations.
6. Project Achievements
The project was successfully completed in March 2026, and the customized audio system achieved outstanding results, fully meeting the client’s needs and exceeding their expectations:
1. Stable Performance: The audio system operated continuously at high power for 12 hours without any malfunctions, including no sound distortion, power failures, or equipment overheating. The H228 subwoofers’ multiple protection functions and the H20 line array’s high power-handling capacity ensured the system’s long-term stability, effectively avoiding event disruptions caused by audio equipment failures.
2. Uniform Sound Coverage: The H20 line array speakers, combined with the optimized DSP preset, achieved uniform sound coverage across the entire 500-person venue. The sound pressure level difference in different areas was less than 3dB, and every audience member could hear clear, undistorted sound, whether it was speech or music. The low-frequency performance of the H228 subwoofers was outstanding, adding depth and power to music and live performances.
